What is FAFSA?
FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid and it's the first step to qualifying for most forms of financial aid (Pell grants, Work-Study, Access Missouri Grant, student loans, and A+ Scholarship). Please visit studentaid.gov to get all of the latest FAFSA information including dates of application and deadlines.
2026 WHS LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS
*Check the due dates for each application. Most are due April 7th by 8 a.m. but there are a few with different deadlines. Below you will find the descriptions for all of the local scholarships. Please read the descriptions carefully.
- Type (preferred) or print with a blue or black ink pen. DO NOT use a pencil.
- You can type on a PDF from your chromebook. If you need help figuring out how to do this, come see me in the Guidance Office after school March 3th-4th. I will be here until 4:15 p.m.
- After you have completed the applications you will need to print them out in the library.
- Once you have all of your required paperwork, you need to put your application and paperwork together and turn everything in to the Guidance Office. The way you turn it in to me is the way I’ll turn it in to the scholarship donors.
- If the application is a Google Form and requires a transcript you can download your transcript from Infinite Campus.
- If you are printing your application to turn in and it requires a transcript I’ll take care of that for you.
- If the application requires letters of recommendation you will need to ask your recommenders (teachers, coaches, employers, etc.). I will not do that for you.

ALLAN W. DREYER MEMORIAL
This $500 scholarship is in memory of Allan W. Dreyer, former Warren County R-3 teacher, administrator and supporter of the community who dedicated his life in service to others. The scholarship is to be given to a graduating senior who will be attending a two- or four-year college or university. BIG RED BOOSTERS
The Big Red Booster Scholarship Program will provide a $1,000 academic scholarship to one male and one female, and a $500 academic scholarship to one male and one female athlete each year. The scholarship payment may be used for tuition and books at an accredited institution. Payments will be made directly to the college or university attending in the name of the recipient(s). BROCKFELD FAMILY
The Brockfeld family is sponsoring a $1,000 scholarship in memory of G. A. Brockfeld, Jon A. Brockfeld, Nell M. Brockfeld and Russell Brockfeld. The scholarship is intended to assist students entering a business related major, skilled trade or professional career. DANIEL BOONE RETIRED TEACHERS AND SCHOOL PERSONNEL

GEORGE AND HELEN DUCKWORTH
This is a unique scholarship set up by individuals who considered education particularly important for Warren County R-III youth and is the culmination of the lifetime of work and their final gift back to the community. GEORGE AND MELNA BOLM
George and Melna Bolm of Warrenton offer scholarships to one male and one female student who plan to major in an agriculture related area for students attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. H. FRANK STUERMANN MEMORIAL
This scholarship is available to any Warrenton High School Senior who is a member of the Warrenton FFA and is in good standing with the FFA Chapter. The applicant may attend any Technical School, College or University of their choice, but the field of study must be Agriculture related. Due April 7th by 8:00AM to Mrs. Miederhoff.

ISENMANN
The Isemann Scholarship is administered through Friedens United Church of Christ. A $4000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who is pursuing ministry OR attending college to pursue a career in health care OR attending college to pursue a career in education OR attending a trade school. Preference will be given to a Friedens UCC member, but if there are no candidates from Friedens who meet the criteria, it will be awarded to a qualified non-Friedens applicant. JONESBURG/HIGH HILL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
The JHHFPD is offering a $1,200 scholarship that is funded through the Freddie McClure Community Outreach and is open to students who have been active in school activities and who have maintained good grades. Preference will be given to students planning a career in emergency services- fire, EMS, police and nursing. Selection is made by members of the Fire Protection District. This is a $3,000 scholarship for any student planning on attending a 2 or 4 year college.

MARINE CORPS LEAGUE- RICHARD SCOTT HAYMES DET #1393
This scholarship is for children, stepchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of an active duty, reserve duty or honorable discharged veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps or US Navy FMF Corpsman, or a member of the Marine Corp League or Marine Corps League Women’s Auxiliary. A 3.0 GPA or better is required. ROTARY CLUB OF WARREN COUNTY
Any student living in the Warren County R-III School District is eligible to apply. $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to underwrite college or technical school expenses. This $1,000 scholarship is in memory of Dreyer family members who devoted their working careers to trades/craftsmanship. The Missouri Bank of Warrenton awards 2 (1 boy and 1 girl)- $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors who will be attending a college or university. Factors considered in the selection are grade point average, college admissions test scores, student curriculum, financial need, and extracurricular activities. THE WARRIOR WAY SCHOLARSHIP IN MEMORY OF TERESA SCOTT
2- $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who plan to enroll in postsecondary education after high school. Students who choose to apply for this scholarship will write an essay addressing a challenge that they faced, how this challenge has impacted their life, and what their future goals are. 2ND LT. TYLER ROMAKER MEMORIAL
This scholarship is provided by the Romaker Family in memory of Tyler Romaker. Tyler was a graduate from WHS, and a senior at the Univ. of Missouri at the time of his motorcycle accident that ended his life at the age of 22. This year a $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who will be attending Univ. of MO-Columbia and will participate in either Marching Mizzou OR Army ROTC. WARREN COUNTY FARM BUREAU
The Warren County Farm Bureau offers a $500 scholarship to graduating seniors. The student’s family must be Warren County Farm Bureau members on or before January 1, 2025. Applicants may major in any discipline, but preference will be given to those enrolling in an agricultural field. The deadline is April 1st.
