Students who have failed a course or who are behind on graduation credits may sign up to take
courses on A+ Learning Systems (credit recovery). Students will have one (1) semester plus a summer school session to
regain the credit they lost before they are placed back into the course. For example, if a student fails 1st semester Biology,
he/she has 2nd semester and summer school to complete the credit recovery. If a student fails 2nd semester Biology
he/she has summer school and 1st semester of the following school year to complete the credit recovery.
Once a student completes their credit recovery course a letter grade of “P” will get entered on their transcript. The “P”
will not replace the “F” and will not be figured in the student’s grade point average.
Students considering playing sports in college: Credit recovery courses do not count as eligible courses with NCAA or NAIA.
