Advanced Placement

Advanced Placement (AP) courses are taken during the regular school day. Students can take an exam at the completion of the course. Students who score high enough on the exam can earn college credit through The College Board. Students taking AP courses may qualify for weighted grades in that course. Specific information about this is available from the course instructor.

· Everything you need to know about AP is available at their website...www.collegeboard.com/apstudents

 · AP information for Missouri schools is often available on the individual college website, or you may contact your college’s admissions office.

 · Students and parents should check with the college/university to make sure the information posted is still current. Please get the college’s AP policy in writing.
